Inspired by Queens is a nonprofit organization

The goal of Inspired by Queens is to break the misguided traits of Womanhood and create a generation of woman who are emotionally, socially and economically strong. This program will help young women realize their potential and envision a future where they are physically and emotionally equipped, responsible and productive women. Our program will include but is not limited to education, life and career counseling. We aim to help our woman develop career potential and to improve their connections to advanced education. Although we encourage employment, we recognize the importance of education as well.

Three generations. Three princesses. One beautiful moment in Disney history. 👑✨

Brandy, Anika Noni Rose and Halle Bailey shared the stage at Disney’s Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration during D23 Day at Disneyland Resort.

For so many Black girls, each of these women represents a different chapter.
In 1997, Brandy made history as Cinderella, giving a generation of little Black girls the chance to see themselves at the center of a classic fairy tale.

In 2009, Anika Noni Rose became the voice of Princess Tiana in The Princess and the Frog, Disney’s first Black animated princess.

Then in 2023, Halle Bailey brought Ariel to life in the live-action The Little Mermaid, introducing another generation to a Disney princess who looked like them.
Cinderella. Tiana. Ariel.
Nearly 30 years of representation standing together in one picture.

And somewhere, a little girl is looking at all three of them and thinking being a princess was always possible. 👑🩷✨
