Volunteer Opportunity: The Spring Donation Center
Join Tampa Women For Good at The Spring Tampa Bay’s NEW Thrift Store & Donation Center, a central hub for all donations to the organization that support its mission. Here, they receive essential needs for the families they serve, like toiletries, food, bedding, and diapers, as well as the donations that come through for their two retail locations, which help generate revenue for their mission! Our volunteers will help sort incoming donations, hang clothes, and help restock the stores.
Dress Code: Closed-toed shoes with backs are required for safety. Comfortable, modest clothing is encouraged, as tasks may include lifting or bending. Please avoid wearing offensive or inappropriate graphics or logos. Please keep in mind the building does not have air conditioning and heat in all of the spaces - if it is hot outside, it will be hot inside. In the colder months, they advise volunteers to bring a jacket and gloves
Water: It is recommended to bring a bottle of water - refill water stations are available
Parking Information: Please see the attached parking map. All volunteers will park around the back of the building and walk in through the donation dock
Checking in/out: All volunteers will need to check in and out at the kiosk located by the volunteer room, then grab an apron and a name tag
