CAMP Ensemble Commission Composer: Julian Stuart-Burns. We met Julian at the Iceberg Summer Institute in 2026. We have contemplated building a long-term collaboration with Iceberg alumni for the past few years, and the thought is coming true! We are very excited to work with Julian Stuart-Burns on a quartet piece (sax, piano, percussion, and e-guitar) this season. IntAct Open Call 2026

IntAct Festival invites all international artists from all disciplines to submit their works for exhibition and performance during the 8th edition of IntAct — New Music and Art Festival.

📅 Festival Dates: 17–20 December 2026

✨ Theme: “…if…”
A condition suspended between reality and virtuality. Building on the festival’s ongoing inquiry into artistic transformation, IntAct 2026 invites artists to question the conditions that make creativity possible. Inspired by Bergson’s idea of creative evolution, “…if…” considers creativity as a process of continual actualization — where the past is not a fixed archive, but a virtual force reactivated by the present and opened toward unforeseeable futures.

What drives humanity to continue creating new things through the shifting relationship between past, present, and future?
Can creativity become timeless or borderless? Or is it inevitably shaped by the systems, technologies, and realities we construct?

This edition invites artists and thinkers to inhabit the uncertain space between what has already occurred and what may yet unfold — a space of possibility, speculation, and transformation.

We are thrilled to announce that CAMPGround27 commissioned composer Piyawat Louilarpprasert.

Originally from Bangkok, Piyawat Louilarpprasert is a Thai composer, multimedia performer, and curator who works with the interweave of music composition, visual art, and sound installation. Piyawat’s music explores possibilities of creating the amalgamation of sonic and visual arts, including integrating multimedia and music, deconstructing instruments’ s mechanism and physicality with sound production method, and involving Thai traditional music elements in new compositions.

With performances spanning over 30 countries across Asia, Europe, and United States, Piyawat has received commissions and awards, including the Fromm Foundation Commission, Harvard (USA), the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung Commission (DE), British Council Grant Prize (UK), Musicanova—Helsinki Philharmonic (Finland), 100th year commission of Donaueschinger Musiktage (DE), KulturKontakt Residency by the Austrian Federal Chancellery (Austria), Best Music Award International Computer Music Conference (Shenzhen), Impuls Composer Commission (Graz), Artist in residence of Südwestrundfunk (SWR) Experimental Studio (Freiburg).
