Fabienne Goutier is a treasured part of the Three Strand Cord family. She has been an integral part of SO MUCH that 3SC has done and is doing. She has hosted clinics, supported communities and allowed so many of us to know and love Haiti in a way that we would never have been able if not for her deep love for Haiti and all its people.

Right now, Fabienne needs our help. In early September, while serving Haitians affected by the most recent earthquake, Fabienne had a minor stroke. After she returning to Miami for treatment, Fabienne suffered three more major strokes.

Now, our brave girl, and her family, set off on the work of rehabilitation. In the natural, the journey seems long. We have seen God's hand throughout this process, though, and we know that He is with her. But she needs us with her too!

If you would like to give to Fabienne and her family during this time, please visit our GoFundMe page set up on their behalf. https://gofund.me/d5b3b872

If you have any questions about the fund or its intent, please reach out to me at [email protected].

Thank you for ALL you do for Haiti and all its people. Especially this precious Haitian!

We are still reeling from the news of the earthquake in Haiti. As the number of dead and displaced grow, we pray that God will show us His provision in this time. All of us who love Haiti are crushed by this event.

3SC does not have broad experience doing relief work, so we are letting those who know best act in this moment. If you want to support great organizations who are helping here, please give to any of the following organizations who are working tirelessly to aid in this time:

Please pray for our sweet Haitian friends. We know God is with them. Let us pray for them to see Him all around in this turbulent time.

Romans 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Haitian President Jovenel Moise was shot dead by unidentified attackers in his private residence overnight in a "barbaric act", the government said on Wednesday, stirring fears of escalating turmoil in the impoverished Caribbean nation.

Thank you Elizabeth Cohen from CNN, you did your best to captured my words. I still feel the same, no not the same at all just more. Not sure how to explain it. Its a feeling that I cannot define. Today is always an excruciating day, but at the same time a hopeful day because I am still here. Still here but so many things have happened since and will come. But we are not alone. But we are so far from where we need to be while a little bit closer. Haiti, the place of infinite impossibilities. The place or firsts, mosts, bests and worsts. The place that changes history from its inception.
We are living in historical times. It behooves us all to be on the right side of history. At least.

This is what movement to self sufficiency looks like!!

This wonderful basket project came about as a way to help the wonderful women of Kenscoff, part of one of our Oasis Project communities.

Although they sold wonderful produce their sales were low often rotting because they didn’t share what they had. It started off as a test when Fabienne asked them if they could work together and she would ask friends to buy the variety baskets. Well.....its been a hit!!! Who knew!!! For the last 3 weeks they have been increasing sales each week!! They will be able to afford their kids tuition for the semester!!!
