At Soraya Cares, we often hear people say, “I know it’s just a stuffed animal, but I hope it helps.”

The truth is, it does help. More than you may realize.

A new stuffy can bring comfort, security, and even joy to children of all ages. Recently, we were invited to an event where the coordinator shared something incredibly touching: the teenagers were just as excited to receive a new stuffed animal as the younger children.

For some, it was the comfort of a much-needed hug. For others, the stuffy reminded them of happier memories, safety, or simply gave them something soft to hold onto during a difficult time.

Comfort has no age limit.

Your donations to Soraya Cares are never insignificant. Every stuffed animal given is a reminder to a child or teen that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

Thank you for helping us continue to spread comfort, one stuffy at a time.

Today marks what would have been Soraya’s 5th birthday.

While we cannot celebrate with her in the ways we once imagined, we choose to celebrate the lasting impact of her life. Soraya’s spirit continues to be the heartbeat of everything we do at Soraya Cares, turning our love for her into tangible hope for others.

In honor of this milestone, Soraya Cares has made a series of donations this week. We believe there is no better way to celebrate her memory than by making the world a little brighter for someone else.

These donations are our way of sending Soraya’s light back into the world. Every act of kindness is a tribute to the daughter we carry in our hearts every single day.

Spreading kindness has a ripple effect—one small act can brighten someone’s day and inspire them to pass it on to others.

Even simple things can make a big difference:

• Smiling at someone
• Giving a genuine compliment
• Helping someone who’s struggling
• Listening when someone needs to talk
• Saying “thank you” and showing appreciation

Kindness doesn’t have to be big to matter. Sometimes the smallest gestures create the biggest impact. 💛

We are incredibly grateful to Alpha Gymnastics for selecting Soraya Cares as their nonprofit for this year’s annual Charity Challenge Cup.

Not only did the athletes do an amazing job in their competition, but they also helped spread awareness and raised over $1,000 for Soraya Cares.

We are truly touched by the support of this wonderful community and thankful for everyone helping us spread love and kindness.

This year, we are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received. Soraya Cares asked for your help, and you truly answered the call. Because of you, we were able to increase our impact and reach more kids than ever before.

Thanks to your generous donations, this holiday season we were able to fulfill 54 children’s wishlists across Tampa and Fort Lauderdale. We also donated toys, books, and hygiene kits to six organizations throughout Florida and made our first-ever donation in Rhode Island.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible donors and volunteers. Thank you again for helping us make a difference.
