Today, Tampa Fire Rescue Cadets stood alongside to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

While many of our cadets were not yet born when the events of 9/11 unfolded, they carry forward the responsibility to remember the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who ran toward danger, as well as the innocent lives tragically lost that day.

Their courage, sacrifice, and legacy will never be forgotten.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We will .

This morning, proudly participated in Paint Your Heart Out Tampa 🎨

Working side by side with fellow volunteers, the cadets dedicated their time and energy to painting the home of low-income elderly residents in our community. Their efforts not only helped improve the appearance of the home, but also brought renewed pride and comfort to those who live there.

Opportunities like this go beyond just service hours—they help shape the next generation of leaders by instilling compassion, teamwork, and a strong commitment to giving back. These young men and women continue to demonstrate what it truly means to serve with purpose, and their dedication reflects the core values of our community.

We’re proud of the impact they made today and grateful to be part of an initiative that brings people together to support our neighbors.

🚒🔥 Huge shoutout to our incredible Tampa Fire Rescue Cadets for their outstanding efforts yesterday.

They demonstrated true dedication, strength, and heart as they participated in both the 21st Annual Fight for Air Climb, hosted by the American Lung Association, and the Tampa Fire Rescue Open House. 💨🏃‍♂️🔥

Congratulations to Cadet Jealyann Cardona on winning first place in the Donning and Doffing PPE Competition! 🎊🎉

It’s inspiring to see our future firefighters pushing themselves to new heights—literally and figuratively—to support these meaningful causes. Your commitment to fitness, service, and community makes us all proud.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the cadets and these important events. Together, we’re building a healthier, safer, and stronger community! 💪❤️
