JUNE IS MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH MONTH ✨

Mental health does not discriminate by gender.

Too often, men are taught to be strong, silent, and self-reliant while carrying burdens no one else can see. But true strength isn’t found in suffering alone—it’s found in knowing when to ask for support.

This month, Speak To Me Inc. recognizes the importance of men’s mental health and encourages conversations that break the stigma surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress, and emotional wellness.

To every man reading this:

🩵 You do not have to carry everything by yourself.
🩵 Your feelings are valid.
🩵 Seeking help is not weakness.
🩵 Rest is productive.
🩵 Healing is possible.

Let’s create spaces where men feel safe to speak, process, heal, and thrive.

Check on the men in your life.
Listen without judgment.
Encourage therapy.
Normalize emotional wellness.

Because mental health is health.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At Speak To Me Inc, we believe every voice deserves to be heard and every story deserves space.

Mental health is not a luxury—it’s essential. This month, we’re encouraging open conversations, breaking stigma, and reminding our community that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Whether you’re navigating stress, grief, trauma, or simply need someone to listen—you are not alone.

Let’s continue to show up for ourselves and each other with compassion, understanding, and care.

Check in. Speak up. Reach out. 🗣️

🌸 I’m honored to share that I will be speaking at the EmpowerHER: Where Potential Blooms event hosted by the Suncoast Tampa Association of Realtors on March 19.

I’ll be leading a session titled “The Architecture of Self-Care: Building Your Inner Sanctuary.” In this conversation, we’ll explore how women can intentionally design lives that prioritize mental health, boundaries, and sustainability while still leading, serving, and achieving.

As a mental health professional and the founder of Speak To Me Inc., this topic is deeply personal to me. Too often women are taught to pour into everyone else while neglecting themselves. My goal is to help women reimagine self-care not as a luxury—but as the foundation that supports their purpose, leadership, and impact.

If you’re in the Tampa Bay area, I would love to see you there as we gather for a day of empowerment, connection, and growth.

Let’s build spaces—within ourselves and in our communities—where potential can truly bloom. 🌷

Today is National Day of Rest, and at Speak To Me Inc. we want to remind you that rest is not laziness — it is necessary.

In a world that constantly tells us to keep going, achieve more, and push through exhaustion, taking time to pause is an act of self-care and self-respect. Your mind deserves the same care and attention as your body.

Rest allows us to reset, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves. Whether that looks like unplugging from social media, spending quiet time in prayer or meditation, taking a nap, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down — it matters.

Mental wellness includes knowing when to stop and breathe.

Today, we encourage you to check in with yourself and give your mind the rest it deserves.

🌸 Happy International Women’s Day 🌸

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere. At Speak To Me we recognize that behind every strong woman is a story—one of perseverance, healing, courage, and growth.

Women carry so much: families, careers, communities, and often silent struggles with their mental health. Today we honor the women who keep going, who show up even when it’s hard, and who are learning that their voices, feelings, and well-being matter too.

✨ Your strength is powerful.
✨ Your story is important.
✨ Your mental health deserves care.

Let today be a reminder that you don’t have to carry everything alone. When women support one another, speak openly, and prioritize healing, we create stronger communities for everyone.

💬 Speak. Heal. Empower.

As Women’s History Month unfolds, we pause to honor the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women—past, present, and rising. 💜

From trailblazers like Maya Angelou and Madam C.J. Walker, to the everyday women leading in their homes, businesses, and communities—history is shaped by courage, vision, and faith.

At Speak To Me, we celebrate the women who break barriers, build legacies, nurture dreams, and show up boldly—even when the odds are stacked against them. Your leadership matters. Your voice matters. Your story matters.

This month, we commit to:

✨ Supporting women-owned businesses
✨ Creating safe spaces for growth and empowerment
✨ Uplifting mental wellness and self-care
✨ Investing in the next generation of female leaders

Here’s to the women who came before us, the women standing beside us, and the girls watching us. May we continue to rise, lead, and leave doors open behind us.

🖤 As Black History Month comes to an end, we reflect not only on the victories and voices of the past, but on the healing still needed in our present.

Black history is resilience in the face of trauma. It is strength passed down through generations. It is faith, perseverance, and the courage to seek freedom — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

At our organization, we honor pioneers like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman, whose bravery changed the course of history. But we also honor today’s quiet warriors — those choosing therapy, breaking generational cycles, setting boundaries, and prioritizing their mental wellness.

Mental health is Black history.
Healing is Black history.
Seeking help is strength — not weakness.

As we move beyond February, our commitment remains:

✨ Creating safe spaces for healing

✨ Normalizing conversations around mental health in the Black community

✨ Providing access, education, and support

✨ Breaking stigma and building resilience

The work doesn’t stop when the month ends — because our community’s wellness matters every day.

🖤 The legacy is strength. The mission is healing. The future is wholeness.

📢 Happy 211 Day!

At Speak To Me Inc., we believe that connection is a lifeline.

Today, we celebrate National 211 Day, honoring the essential service that connects millions of people to local resources—from food and housing to mental health support and crisis intervention.

In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, knowing there is a simple number to call for help makes all the difference. We are proud to support communication that empowers, informs, and saves lives.

How you can participate today:

* Spread the word: Remind your friends and family that 211 is free, confidential, and available 24/7.

* Say thank you: If you’ve ever been helped by a 211 operator, share your story!

* Stay connected: Keep the lines of communication open.

Invest in the future of equitable healthcare ‼️

Finding a clinician who shares your identity as a woman of color isn't a luxury—it's essential empowerment.

The relief of feeling truly seen, heard, and culturally understood in a healthcare setting is invaluable. It leads to better trust, honest conversations, and ultimately, better health outcomes.

This Giving Tuesday, let's support organizations that are actively working to:

* Increase representation in medicine and mental health.

* Fund scholarships for aspiring clinicians of color.

* Promote culturally competent care for marginalized communities.

Your contribution helps ensure that every woman of color can find a safe space where she doesn't have to leave a piece of herself at the door.
