Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20th that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.

Sadly, 2021 has already seen at least 47 transgender, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming people fatally shot or killed in the USA by violent means, the majority of which were Black and Latinx transgender women. We say "at least" because too often these stories go unreported -- or misreported.

Here at The Spring, we know that violence doesn’t discriminate and neither do we. We are here to serve every survivors of domestic violence.
