If you’re following us here, then you know what we do and how we serve. What you may not know is that the men and women we work alongside are so much more than firefighters. They’re husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, and some of the most selfless people we’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.

To the world, they’re heroes. But even heroes need someone to stand beside them when life takes an unexpected turn.

Today, one of our own needs us.

He’s a fellow captain, a devoted husband, and an incredible father.

For years, he has answered the call without hesitation, showing up for complete strangers on what were often the worst days of their lives. He never asked for anything in return. Now it’s our turn to answer the call for him.

We’re asking you to keep him and his family in your prayers. If you’re able to help in any way, please do. Whether it’s a donation, sharing this post, or simply lifting his family up in prayer, every act of kindness matters.

This is what community is. This is what family is. And this is what taking care of our own looks like.

If you’re friends with me here, then you likely know what I do for a living. What you may not know is the incredible brotherhood and sisterhood I am blessed to serve alongside every day through the Firemen’s Benevolent Association.

Today, one of our own is fighting for his life.

He is a Captain, a husband, a father, and a brother within the Firemen’s Benevolent Association. A man who has spent his career running toward danger when others were running away. A man who has carried the weight of other people’s worst days without ever asking for recognition or anything in return.

Right now, he and his family need all of us.

His condition is critical, and the road ahead is uncertain. His wife, his children, and his loved ones are standing by his side, holding onto hope, strength, and prayer.

I’m asking you—truly asking you—to lift him up in prayer. Pray for healing, for strength, and for a miracle.

If you are able to help financially, we have included a QR code with this post to support his family during this unimaginable time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden they are carrying right now.

This is what it means to take care of our own within the Firemen’s Benevolent Association. This is what community looks like when one of our brothers needs us most.
