You are invited! 🎨✨ This year’s Joshua House Gala, “The Art of Hope,” will be at the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel on September 26, from 6 PM to 10 PM.

Enjoy a magical evening of entertainment during cocktail hour, talented artists over dinner, and live painters and musicians with powerful stories of restoration. Together, we’ll experience how the arts build resilience and empower children to dream beyond their circumstances.

We love seeing our kids express themselves and create something that is unique to them.

Because of SouthState Bank , our youth and children customized their own pillowcases. Each one became a reflection of the child, whether it was by drawing their favorite things, making colorful designs, or writing positive reminders to encourage themselves before going to sleep.

Last week we had an amazing Back-to-School celebration with Apollidon Learning. Their team gave brand-new hoodies to all our kids, provided delicious tacos and ice cream, and played games with us.

As school starts back up, it’s so important that our kids feel encouraged, seen, and motivated to walk into the classroom or work towards their GED. Taking every opportunity to create these meaningful end-of-summer experiences helps our kids look forward to another year, feeling like they can overcome any obstacles they face.

For the past four weeks, Access to Fresh has been teaching our kiddos about nutrition with cooking classes and by letting them bring home a basket of ingredients of their choice!

Last week, Nichole showed our kids how to make a refreshing salsa for their entire house. Everyone was engaged with every step of the recipe, and at the end, they felt confident that they could make it again on their own.

We are so thankful to the Team Godwin Foundation for throwing an incredible Back-to-School Bash for our kiddos last week, and a huge thank you to Frankie's Italian Deli Tpa for providing a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Every corner of campus was filled with excitement as our children enjoyed carnival games, raced down the water slide, and received fresh haircuts and hairstyles from amazing barbers and stylists who volunteered their time to make our kiddos shine.

Thank you to Mariah and Chris Godwin and every volunteer who made this day so special. Because of your generosity, our children can finish summer break feeling valued, supported, and excited for the year ahead!
