🐊💚 You really gave a Croc about foster kids! Thanks to our amazing supporters, we collected over $1,200 in Crocs, slides, and Croc charms for children in foster care!

A huge thank you to Mavis Tires & Brakes & Tire Kingdom, whose May storewide donation drive gifted 48 pairs of shoes to foster kids.

Because of your kindness, children from toddlers to teens will be rocking brand-new summer footwear all season long. Thank you for helping foster kids put their best foot forward this summer!

We are incredibly grateful to the Nursey Foundation for its generous $20,000 gift supporting teens and young adults ages 16–25 who are aging out of foster care.

For many youth, aging out of the foster care system means facing adulthood without the support network most young people rely on. This investment will help provide resources and support that empower young adults to build stable, independent, successful futures.

Because of partners like the Nursey Foundation, we can continue to help foster youth as they transition out of care and begin the next chapter of their lives.

Voices for Children of Tampa Bay has officially moved into Mary Lee's House, and if you know what both organizations stand for, you know this was always meant to be. VFC exists to support, empower, and advocate for the most vulnerable kids in our foster care system. Mary Lee's House was founded on a powerful idea: bring every agency that protects, respects, and heals children under one roof. Now we share more than a mission. We share a home. One roof. Stronger together. For every child who needs a voice and a safe place to land.

Lorne met Kayla one morning at Mary Lee's House just before her scheduled appointment. To help her pass the time, Lorne kept her laughing with his sweet antics, giving high fives and paw shakes. Dayle shared, “When I handed her a Lorne coloring book and pencils, she gave me the biggest smile and hugged me like I had given her something really special. I’ll always remember that moment and knowing Lorne helped make her morning a little brighter and a little easier.”

Some appointments are scary. Luckily, Lorne is really good at the “I’ve got you” kind of support. 🐾

Whether he’s hanging out with kids before a forensic interview, curling up beside them during a medical exam, or quietly staying close through an interview or deposition, Lorne has a way of making tough moments feel a little softer.

Sometimes it’s a paw to hold. Sometimes it’s a fluffy head in their lap. And sometimes just knowing he’s there helps kids feel safe enough to get through the hard stuff.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸 We are grateful to all who have served and continue to serve, including the first responders who show up for our communities every day. Thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication. ❤️🤍💙

Jacob has been in foster care for several years and shares a loving home with Bryon, another child in care. When Jacob’s foster parents asked for a Busch Gardens Fun Card Pass so he could join Bryon for days filled with adventure, fun, and making memories together, we were happy to help.

Moments like these matter. Giving foster kids the chance to simply be kids exploring, playing, and bonding with the people who care about them supports their emotional and mental well-being in so many important ways.

Voices for Children of Tampa Bay was invited to attend the Law & Liberty Dinner in Tampa, held by the Hillsborough County Bar Association. VFC is fortunate to be one of the nonprofits receiving funding from the dinner's proceeds for our Children's Legal Needs Program.
