NAR's Code of Ethics prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. NAR supports the Fair and Equal Housing Act, which would add these protections to federal law.

REALTORS® are committed to upholding fair housing and the Code of Ethics, and we’re excited to share that the Suncoast Tampa Association of Realtors is offering Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing, an NAR certificate course designed to help real estate professionals interrupt stereotypical thinking, avoid fair housing pitfalls, and provide equal professional service to every client. Participants will explore the mind science of identity, learn how implicit bias can lead to fair housing violations, and engage in interactive exercises to strengthen communication and business relationships with clients of all backgrounds. Once registered, attendees will receive an email with instructions to create a login (if they’re not a member) to access the class, simple and seamless.
