🔥 Cooking Up Skills and Fun! 🏕️🍳
This weekend, our Scouts continued working on their Cooking Merit Badge while camping at Camp Brorein and they were hard at work learning valuable outdoor cooking skills!
The Scouts learned about food and utensil safety, explored different cooking methods including Dutch ovens, frying pans, and other camp cooking techniques, and then put their knowledge into action by preparing their own meals.
The highlight of the weekend? An exciting Iron Chef competition where the Scouts showcased their creativity, teamwork, and cooking talents!
Of course, camping isn't just about earning badges. The boys also enjoyed spending time together, building friendships, sharing laughs, and making memories around camp.
We're proud of their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things. Great job, Scouts! 👏🍴🔥

🌱 Help Our Scout Grow Something Amazing! 🌱
One of our dedicated Scouts is working toward earning the rank of 🦅 Eagle Scout 🦅 by creating a garden project for Double Branch Elementary School. This garden will provide students with a hands-on opportunity to learn about nature, sustainability, healthy foods, and the importance of caring for their environment.
To make this project a reality, we are asking for your support. Every donation, big or small, will help fund materials, plants, soil, and everything needed to create a lasting outdoor learning space for local children.

Our Scouts had an incredible week at Woodruff Scout Camp (Blairsville, GA)! 🌄
Rain tested their preparedness and perseverance early on, but they pushed through and grew stronger until the sun returned. ☀️
From mountaineering skills for our first-year campers, to new merit badges, Kendall’s Crossing hangouts, whitewater rafting adventures, and meaningful opening, closing, and flag retirement ceremonies; every moment mattered.
A week of challenge, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime. ⚜️💪🔥

Rain or shine, our Scouts keep going! 🌧️⛺ They’ve been having an incredible time; learning new skills, making friendships stronger, and showing true perseverance through some very wet conditions.
