A quick update regarding our 2026 Handbags and High Heels Fundraising Brunch. We have decided to cancel the brunch for this year and will be focusing on pricing services to meet the needs of the women and girls in our community as we see an increase in request for services.

We thank you for sticking by us and look forward to your continued support.

We recognize that this can be a difficult day for some so we want to honor those who have biological children, adoptive children and foster children. Those who have suffered losses and those who have tried but weren't able. Those in estranged relationships... we hold you close.

One of the MANY things that I love about what we do at Serendipity Women's Mental Wellness Center is going out to meet with teen girls about how we can help them in their journey to womanhood.

Today we participated in a brunch for teen moms hosted by my friend Angine Moss of at Seagull Alternative High School in Broward County, FL.

✨️CELEBRATING 6 YEARS ✨️

At the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our fearless founder decided to launch this organization to create greater access for women and girls to mental health services in Florida.

6 years later, we're not only providing services but we've also become a teaching site where mental health graduate students can learn practical skills while obtaining hours for graduation.

And we couldn't have done any of it without our part-time and volunteer therapists, donors and community partners.

An acquaintance mentioned how she had been having pain in the shoulders for weeks and was worried about potential shoulder strain or rotator cuff issues. As of that wasn't enough, her husband kept pressing her for s*x, totally ignoring the pain and discomfort that she's experiencing.

THIS is why this brunch and this conversation is so important. We want our partners to have a better understanding of what we're going through and how to better support us.

AND you also help to raise funds so that women who are struggling and can't afford therapy can get it. Everyone of you who contributes, aids in making therapy more accessible.
