As you look forward to Giving Tuesday, we would like you to consider The Simon Cancer Foundation for your charitable donations. Over 75 students who have struggled with cancer now have a little less to worry about when going to college. We recently helped Samantha, an acute myeloid leukemia survivor who is attending the University of Wisconsin.

“I know I can make a difference! I am nearing the end of my recovery for my bone marrow transplant. As soon as it is safe for me, I am going to get involved in helping the kids at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and pediatric cancer across the country. I met a girl my age who went through treatment for ALL about two years ago, and she started an organization called A Patient Helping Patients, which collects comfort gift items for cancer patients at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. I have messaged her and plan on helping out once my doctors release me.”

Every year, your support makes dreams like Samantha’s possible.
Today, we’re launching our 2017 Year-End Campaign. Our goal is to help an additional 5 students with cancer receive financial assistance for college. That’s why our goal for this campaign is to raise $5,000 by December 31st. When we reach our target, we’ll be able to offset a portion of their books and tuition expenses for more students in 2018. Remember, your donations are tax-deductible.

If you missed Giving Tuesday, there's still time to make your donation today!

Over 70 students who have struggled with cancer now have a little less to worry about when going to college. We recently helped Brianna, a seven-year survivor of stage four Hodgkin’s lymphoma who is attending University of Miami this Fall.

“Cancer has led me to some wonderful things. It has led me to becoming the National Youth Ambassador for Hyundai’s Hope on Wheels. It has led me to be a public speaker for organizations like Hope & Heroes, The Octoberwoman Foundation, the American Cancer Society, The Valerie Fund, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Pennies for Patients. It has led me to Capitol Hill where I lobbied for the Creating Hope Act with Congressmen Michael McCaul and Mike Kelly, which was passed by President Obama last summer.”

Brianna is performing amazing charity to give back to others in her situation. She is just one story of many who depend on your generous donations. Because of you and your help, Brianna is receiving assistance from The Simon Cancer Foundation and fulfilling her dream of becoming a Miami Hurricane.
