This year, Healing Arts Institute of South Florida is proud to recognize Albury “Pete” Burrows as our Hometown Hero at the 2026 Unmasked Gala.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Dillard High School graduate, longtime public servant, and Founder & Executive Director of Veterans Help Services, Inc., Pete has dedicated his life to helping veterans and their families navigate the VA disability benefits process — completely free of charge.

His decades of service embody what UNMASKED represents: showing up for the people and communities that systems too often overlook.
