Look who we ran into at the polls in Coral Springs today…nice to see you, State Rep Dan Daley! (seen here with Ben Groenevelt, vice-president of Coral Springs Improvement District’s Board of Supervisors.)

Rep. Daley works across the political aisles to unite legislators on community issues that affect us all. It is thanks to his legislation, which won unanimous BIPARTISAN support from the state House and Senate in 2021, that every voter living in CSID now gets to elect the CSID Board of Supervisors - not just landowners. This is the first election in which this new voting process kicked in, so get yourselves out to the polls and use that vote!

CSID Board seats are NON-PARTISAN positions. Please re-elect CURT TIEFENBRUN, BEN GROENEVELT and MARK RITTER to the CSID Board of Supervisors and let’s keep it that way. The opposing candidates belong to a political group aiming to privatize public assets including water utilities. A vote each for Curt, Ben and Mark is a vote to keep CSID off party political agendas, keep protecting our trees, maintain low water rates and manage our canals with environmentally sound practices.

Thanks Dan Daley - and Happy 1st Birthday to your sweet dog Tally!

What are you doing this weekend? VOTING....right?! If you live in Coral Springs Improvement District (CSID) your ballot paper will show these candidates standing for re-election to the CSID Board of Supervisors.

Please vote for CURT TIEFENBRUN (Seat 1), BEN GROENEVELT (Seat 2) and MARK RITTER (Seat 3), who have led CSID with integrity. They halted the mass destruction of thousands of trees that was planned by the previous Board, also saving $4 million in the process. They have kept our water rates among the cheapest in South Florida and rebuilt community trust. Save our Trees endorses CURT, BEN and MARK for re-election.

A vote for each of them is also a vote for keeping politics OUT of CSID. These are non-partisan positions - yet three political interlopers who have done nothing to get to know CSID's inner workings, its staff, its customers or its mission, filed to also get their names on the ballot to run against the current Board. CSID needs to remain a public utility - NOT a private enterprise - and stay free of political agendas.

Stick with CURT, BEN and Mark for CSID Seats 1, 2 and 3. They - and the staff of CSID - will continue to do this community proud!

Hey, Coral Springs! Your grass roots effort to save our trees a year ago made the local news by voting in a new Coral Springs Improvement District Board of Supervisors. Curt Tiefenbrun, Ben Groenevelt and Mark Ritter have been working tirelessly over the past year to provide us the highest quality drinking water, keep us dry during storms and preserve our canal trees. EARLY VOTING HAS BEGUN! LET'S RE-ELECT CURT TIEFENBRUN, BEN GROENEVELT AND MARK RITTER AND SAVE OUR TREES!

REMEMBER: Early voting starts Mon October 21st. Please be sure to look down the ballot and vote to re-elect your incumbent Coral Springs Improvement District (CSID) Board of Supervisors:

Seat 1: Curt Tiefenbrun
Seat 2: Ben Groenevelt
Seat 3: Mark Ritter

Not only did they reverse the previous Board's plan to destroy thousands of trees, they saved $4m in doing so and hardened storm resilience through environmentally sound practices and strengthening infrastructure. They've kept CSID's water among the cheapest in S/Florida and cleanest in all the state, and built collaboration with the city.

Their opponents at this election are political opportunists with an agenda to privatize public utilities. Let's keep politics OUT of our water district by voting Curt, Ben & Mark back IN. They have served our community with integrity and will continue to put YOU, the customer, first.

Hello, Coral Springs! We worked hard last year to get our candidates for the CSID Board of Supervisors elected, and they SAVED OUR TREES! Curt, Ben and Mark have not only saved over 2,000 canal trees from the chain saw, but they’ve also been doing a super great job ensuring we have the cleanest drinking water in the state.

But we cannot put our feet up and be complacent. There are dark clouds on the horizon! Curt, Ben and Mark are being challenged by a politically aligned group of candidates threatening to privatize all government assets.

So this November 5th, let’s get to the polls and RE-ELECT CURT TIEFENBRUN, BEN GROENEVELT AND MARK RITTER!

Let’s continue to SAVE OUR TREES!

Great coverage by the team at CBS Miami!

One thing to clarify in this: the next election is November 2024 - next year, not this November.

Critics say the tree removal plan was not thoroughly researched and would cost too much

What started as a grassroots movement to protect the city's landscape, aesthetics, environment, and properties turned into political momentum that flipped all three Coral Springs Improvement District (CSID) board seats.
