Celebrating wirh our fellow Mighty Mid-Atlantic awardees at the Notre Dame Alumni Association dinner last night at Leadership Conference. Feeling so grateful to be recognized as 2025 Outstanding D size Club, alongside F size Outstanding Club Notre Dame Club of Gettysburg, AA Outstanding Club Notre Dame Club of Washington DC, Lennon Life Prize recognition for Schuylkill Co, and Golden Shamrock awardee for club operations Notre Dame Club of Southeastern VA.

Good morning, Schuylkill and carbon counties. Today our Notre Dame Club of Schuylkill County in partnership with the East End Fire Company of Tamaqua will be delivering our donation to the American Cancer Society for Carbon and Schuylkill counties at Penn's Peak around 300 PM. The Notre Dame Club of Schuylkill county hosts a one day event the first Saturday of August (August 1, 2026, for this year) called Kick Cancer in the Co****le at the Owl Creek Reservoir. It is a fund day out, anyone can participate and all proceeds are delivered to the American Cancer Society. East End Fire Company Tamaqua does events throughout the year for the ACS and has their big even in February which is the Chili/Boilo contest which all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. We team up each year to go to the telethon and present the final tally from all events. We first want to thank all those that organize, volunteer, participate in these events, without these individuals none would be successful. We are people you know helping people you know. Everyone has been touched someway by cancer whether family members, friends, coworkers or others that you know. It truly is one disease that does not discriminate. Our annual donations go to those of you fighting the fight, keep fighting; to those of you who won the fight and rang the bell, congratulations and to those of you who lost the fight, our thoughts and prayers go to your families and all that supported you. We hope to see many of you from both organizations show up this afternoon at Penn's Peak or you can watch the telethon on CancerTelethon.org via Utube. Thank you.

Hello Notre Dame Club of Schuylkill County has last call for The Shirt. Unveiling is Friday night before the spring game. We have an opportunity to get The Shirt at a lower cost. $21 for the 2026 The Shirt($18 cost +$3 to the club community fund. Please reach out on this page or to Wendy Perla Seigenfuse directly. Sizes Ys to Yxl, women's small to 2xl and men's small to 3xl. No infant/toddler or long sleeve. All short sleeve. Offer is gone by end of day Tuesday April 7th at 500 PM. Thank you.
