Really rainy at Knoebels right now. Remind’s me of the time Kayla Rodick was the only one prepared ahead of time with a poncho that people picked on her for; only for those people and most to go and buy ponchos from Knoebels when it started raining more.

Prayer for John P. Malarkey ’51, P ’83, ’84, ’95, GP ’16, ’19, ‘21
Principal, Mentor, Servant Leader

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts as we mourn the passing of John P. "Jack" Malarkey, a faithful servant and beloved principal of Marian High School.
For decades, he guided generations of students, educators, and families with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
We thank You for the light he brought into the lives of so many — through his leadership, his example, and his steadfast commitment to Catholic education.
Lord, welcome him now into Your eternal embrace.
May he find peace in Your presence and joy in the company of the saints.
Comfort those who grieve — his family, friends, colleagues, and all who were touched by his life and legacy.
Let them feel Your loving arms around them in this time of sorrow.
May Mr. Malarkey's life continue to inspire us — to lead with kindness, to serve with humility, and to live with purpose.
May his memory be a blessing, and his soul rest in Your eternal peace.
Amen.

We will notify all members of the Marian family when a celebration of Mr. Malarkey's life will be held at Marian Catholic High School in the John P. "Jack" Malarkey Gymnasium
