The excitement is buzzing!!

Adrian DiMatteo (B.M. Eastman School of Music, 2012) is the founder of the Sonic Institute. He is an international performing and recording artist, author (Elements of Sound: A Full-Spectrum Exploration of Sound and Consciousness), music educator, app creator (Chord Atlas), and sound meditation facilitator with over 20 years’ experience in the music world.

Adrian has toured and traveled extensively—exploring sound, language, musical culture and how they affect individual and collective wellbeing. Hundreds of students have graduated from Sound Healer Training programs and weekend retreats that Adrian regularly facilitates nationwide. To date, he has offered musical experiences to thousands of people in hospitals, hospices, elder care facilities, prisons and children’s centers.

Colleen Porter, , has been fully immersed in voice and songwriting as alchemic medicine the past 15 yrs. Her own healing journey can be felt in the power of the songs she shares and wrote as she redefined life, love, and spirituality shifting out of co-dependency and religion.

Colleen facilitated music education in creative ways for a couple decades then was inspired to write songs for musical theatre and collective healing. Her multi-layered songs are known for their catchy melodies and inspiring lyrics.

Her ultimate mission is to inspire
others to reclaim their lives and write fulfilling new chapters from a place of authenticity, joy, and wholeness.

Mama of 3 grown boys, Colleen recently moved from Sedona, AZ into her RV full time to connect with a wider music community and focus on her music medicine while on her UNSILENT tour featuring her one woman musical “Leaving” and “Unsilencing” workshops.

He was voted one of the “Best Chefs America” and continues to pursue excellence as a Chef and as an individual. David Resides in Wilmington, Delaware with his son and daughter where he teaches culinary arts on the high school level, co-owns a small restaurant and also works as an energy worker and shamanic practitioner.

Karsyn has loved singing her whole life. To her, singing is as essential as breathing, and she loves to share the joy it brings her with anyone willing! Although Karsyn is newly on her song leading journey, she has been writing circle songs for much longer. She draws inspiration from nature and its inseparable influence on the human experience. Deeply humbled by the trees, flowers, and bees, Karsyn is grateful that nature’s muses will never not encourage her.

Rev Rhetta has been leading singing ensembles and circles of many different styles of music for over 40 years. She has led here in the US, in Europe and recently in South Africa. One of her favorite places to lead is Pendle Hill Quaker Retreat Center in Wallingford PA.

Her powerful “Singing Our Grief circle” guides us to go deep and tap into grief through the voice while being supported by each other. Her singing also centers black music for power, healing, and joy. She also offers a more spontaneous approach called “songing”, making up fun configurations of sound together.

🌟🤍🌟Althaea (Charlotte Malin Collins) is a song leader, song catcher, multi-instrumentalist, teacher, and healer rooted in Northampton, MA, on unceded Nipmuc and Pocumtuc land. She weaves spaces of deep connection through the sacred act of communal singing, where empowered joy and tender grief are equally welcome and held.

With roots in classical strings and chamber music, Althaea brings a reverent musicality to her work, guiding singers of all backgrounds into ease, resonance, and remembrance. Her songleading is not only skillful—it is prayerful, intuitive, and deeply embodied.

A devoted member of the Valley Song Circle Collective, she is a steady heart in the Pioneer Valley’s singing community. Her original songs ripple far beyond her home, carried in circles and ceremonies across the world.

Her debut album, Welcome Home, arrives on September 9 as an offering of healing and belonging.
