Just to clear up any confusion. The post the Sherriff dept made doesn’t have anything to do with the House fire we had this morning.

At 2:00 am this morning we responded to a house fire. Southside and Keota assisted us. We can never thank them enough. They are always so good to work with and so prompt on responding. We also want to give a huge shoutout to Shana with Haskell County Emergency Management!!! She showed up with ice cold bottled water at the perfect time!!!

The Fire Department will conduct a test of the wail siren today at 6:00 PM. This is the siren that would residents who are outdoors to take cover. This is only a test—no action is needed.
