Please Keep the Staats Family and all of Oklahoma FFA in your prayers. Mr. Staats was a true hero for the FFA Community.

Today, the Oklahoma FFA family mourns the passing of former State Supervisor of Agricultural Education and Oklahoma State FFA Advisor, Jack Staats.

Mr. Staats dedicated his life to agricultural education, FFA, and the development of young people across Oklahoma. His leadership, vision, and servant heart left a lasting impact on countless students, teachers, and communities.

We are grateful for his many years of service and the legacy he leaves behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Staats family and all who were blessed to know him.

Out of an incredibly competitive pool of applicants from across the state, only 52 outstanding students were selected for this year’s class. These young leaders represent the very best of Oklahoma’s future—passionate, driven, and ready to grow.

From May 31 to June 5, they will embark on a transformative journey across Oklahoma, gaining deeper insight into our state, building lifelong connections, and developing the leadership skills needed to make a lasting impact.
