🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the symbol that represents our nation’s courage, sacrifice, and freedom. the American flag.

This image captures one of the most recognizable guardians of that freedom, the legendary P‑51 Mustang, set against the Stars and Stripes. The P‑51 played a vital role in securing air superiority during World War II, protecting bombers and helping turn the tide in favor of Allied forces.

At Southern Heritage Air Museum, we are proud to remember and share the history of aircraft like the P‑51, along with the stories of the brave individuals who flew and maintained them, all in service of the flag we celebrate today.

Join us in remembering the legacy, honoring the heroes, and celebrating the enduring spirit of America.
