Did you know that September is/was Service Dog Awareness Month?
Lions Clubs around the world support many different organizations that raise, train, and match guide dogs with blind handlers.
Here in Ohio, we work closely with Pilot Dogs which is located in Columbus.

September is National Service Dog Month!

At Leader Dogs for the Blind, our Leader Dogs work hard 365 days a year, but this month, we're shining an extra bright spotlight on the incredible journey of becoming a Leader Dog.

It takes a village to raise these amazing companions:
- Guide Dog Mobility Instructors
- Volunteer Puppy Raisers
- Breeding Hosts
- Dedicated Supporters

To all who play a part in transforming lives, THANK YOU! Your dedication, care and support mean so much.
