Our young people had the amazing opportunity to visit Florida State University’s Basketball Training Center, where they participated in an exciting basketball camp and experienced what it’s like to train at the collegiate level.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting members of both the FSU Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. Our young people also received a tour of the incredible training facility, giving them a firsthand look at the dedication, discipline, and excellence it takes to compete at the highest level.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to VyStar Credit Union and Florida State University for making this opportunity possible. Your investment in our young people is helping shape tomorrow’s leaders.

🌸 Spring Challenge Success! 🌸

Our young people from AMIkids Gadsden and Tallahassee showed up and showed out at our exciting Spring Challenge! Due to unfortunate weather, we had to conduct all of the activities inside but our young didn’t let this stop them from doing their best. They made the necessary adjustments to make this challenge a success!💪🏽✨

From sharpening their minds in the Spelling Bee and Academic Quiz Bowl, to demonstrating strength and skill in the Standing Broad Jump and Rope Tying Challenge, they gave it their all in every event.

Beyond the competition, everyone enjoyed great fellowship and delicious food, making the day even more memorable! 🍽️

We are incredibly proud of their effort, teamwork, and positive energy. Events like this continue to build confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills. 🌟

During our gender-specific group at AMIkids, our girls participated in an activity called “Queen of Confidence.” 👑 Each girl wrote down three personal strengths, two goals they want to work towards, and one positive affirmation about themselves. They then decorated and designed a crown to represent their confidence and self-worth. The activity encouraged self-reflection, positive self-talk, and empowerment. This activity allowed the girls to recognize their strengths and share encouragement with one another in a supportive group environment.
