Huge thank you to United Rentals W Burgess Rd branch in Pensacola, FL for hosting a University of West Florida Construction Management class on a field trip yesterday! 👏

Students had the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how a rental equipment company operates; from understanding the why behind rental models to exploring the wide range of career pathways in construction, including technician and sales roles. They also gained insight into how teams track performance, manage metrics, and set goals for success.

🚨 PSA: Learn Life-Saving CPR Skills 🚨

ABC North Florida members—this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

Leon County EMS is hosting their annual “Press the Chest” community CPR training event on Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee.

This FREE, hands-on training is open to all ages and will teach you:

- Adult hands-only CPR
- Child CPR with breaths
- Choking relief for adults and children
- AED (Automated External Defibrillator) awareness

Participants will also receive a take-home American Heart Association CPR Anytime Kit, allowing you to practice and share these skills with your team, coworkers, and family.

In the construction industry, emergencies can happen without warning. Having team members trained in CPR can truly be the difference between life and death—helping you protect your workforce and jobsite.
