A period kit is more than a convenience—it’s a confidence booster. 💛

No one plans for their period to start during a math test, before cheer practice, while walking across a college campus, or in the middle of a work shift. But being prepared can make those moments a lot less stressful.

Here are a few reasons every girl should keep a period kit on hand:

✨ Be prepared for unexpected periods.
✨ Feel more confident throughout the day.
✨ Have the supplies you need when symptoms arise.
✨ Be able to help a friend, classmate, or coworker who may not be prepared.

Your period kit doesn’t have to be complicated. A few essentials in your backpack, locker, purse, dorm room, or work bag can give you peace of mind wherever the day takes you.

"If you’ve ever felt embarrassed, frustrated, or anxious about your period at school, know that many other girls and young women have felt the same way.

Periods are a normal part of life, but that doesn’t mean they always feel easy to manage.

What is something you wish you had been told as a young girl about your period?

💛

Unfortunately, many young girls have grown up—or are currently growing up—without proper education about their bodies and menstrual cycles. Normalizing these conversations is essential to helping girls build confidence, understand their health, and make informed decisions about their well-being.

💛

That's why we continue to have these conversations and ask the questions that some may consider "uncomfortable." By talking openly about periods and menstrual health, we help break the stigma, increase awareness, and create a future where girls feel informed, empowered, and supported.
