The Dementia Care and Cure Initiative of the Big Bend participated in the first annual Wakulla County Nonprofit Resource Fair. Whitney Scott, MSW, cochair of the Taskforce, provided participants with valuable information including the purpose of the DCCI, our ability to connect community members with resources, and how we’re working to make our communities dementia-friendly.

Julie Menedez, LCSW (Elder Care Services, Inc.) and Justice Lewis, MSW (Big Bend Hospice) who are both DCCI task force members,were present as well representing their respective agencies.

Thank you Wakulla County for having us. We look forward to continuing to serve the Big Bend community 🫂🧠
