Thank you to the Tallahassee Senior Center and everyone who joined us for a wonderful Lunch & Learn this week!

EABB had the pleasure of visiting the Fort Braden Community Center for the first time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd.

Our Seizure First Aid presentation focused on Understanding Epilepsy and Aging, equipping seniors with the confidence to respond safely and compassionately during a seizure while learning ways to support their health and reduce seizure risk.

🌟 Planning Your Visit:

Admission is free. Parking is available adjacent to the theater, and complementary parking validation and refreshments will be provided at check-in. A parking map is attached below for your convenience.

We encourage you to arrive during the reception beginning at 5:00 PM. This will give you plenty of time to check in, meet filmmaker Stacia Kalinoski, browse exhibits, and enjoy refreshments before the program begins.

Because the screening takes place in the IMAX Theater, guests arriving after 5:45 PM may need to wait for an appropriate opportunity to enter.

Using the power of film to increase understanding of epilepsy and strengthen community connections.

What is it really like to live with epilepsy?

Brainstorm follows the stories of three people living with epilepsy: a broadcast journalist, a nationally recognized football coach, and a middle school student and his family.

Created by Emmy Award-winning journalist and epilepsy advocate Stacia Kalinoski, the film was born from a desire to educate, reduce stigma, and build empathy around the realities of living with epilepsy.

Join us for a special screening, an opportunity to meet Stacia Kalinoski in person, and a community conversation about epilepsy, awareness, and the experiences that too often go unseen.
