Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Land to TCS!
Mrs. Land is going into her third year of teaching. She was born and raised in Tallahassee and is graduate of Rickards High School. Mrs. Land received her Bachelor’s from FSU, also receiving a Master’s in Business Administration. She has coached youth soccer for 12+ years in both Leon and Wakulla counties. She has volunteered with various nonprofits and created a scholarship program for girls seeking to pursue higher education. Mrs. Land is passionate about helping young people discover their God-given gifts and talents. She loves history, current events, painting, hummingbirds, and coffee. She looks forward to the 26-27 school year and getting to know her students!

Today we celebrate Flag Day and the enduring ideals our flag represents—liberty, virtue, courage, and gratitude for those who have preserved them. At Tallahassee Classical School, we seek to cultivate informed citizens who understand our nation’s history and their responsibility to contribute to the common good. May we honor the flag not only with our words, but with lives marked by character and service.

This week, teachers and administrators joined fellow classical schools from around Florida for the Lifelong Learners Seminar at Flagler’s Institute for Classical Education in beautiful St. Augustine, FL. Relationships were formed or renewed and much learning occurred that the teachers are excited to take back to the classroom in the fall.

Please read over the uniform picture boards to ensure you have the correct pieces for the 2026-2027 school year! As a reminder, all students will now participate in Formal Days. Please make sure you have an Oxford shirt for your student in K-8 and a blazer and tie with the Oxford for high schoolers.

We are so excited to announce that due to an overwhelming waitlist, we are opening another 1st grade classroom! Archer families, please spread the word to friends and family who may be interested in joining our wonderful community. We are so proud of how our 1st grade scholars performed this year on state testing, and look forward to another awesome year in 1st grade!💚🏹
