FAMU Student Community Garden

FAMU Student Community Garden Student led non-profit garden, working to co-operatively support fresh food needs for Tallahassee's Southside students and community. All welcome to join!

The FAMU Student Community Garden was originally implemented on Saturday, March 22, 2014, where student leaders representing four organizations came together in a partnership, including Green For All, Dream Defenders, Marcus Garvey Club and the FAMU Chapter of Rethink Energy Florida to make the garden possible. This garden is a nonprofit, student-led initiative to grow organic vegetables, fruits a

nd herbs in a 40 x 40 plot at the FAMU Community Garden located across from FAMU DRS. If you have anything to that you would like to plant in the garden please let us know here. All student and organizations are welcome to join, volunteer, and earn community service hours!
