✨💛 Deep Gratitude to the Crystal Court Families 💛✨

Tonight, we want to send a special thank you to the incredible Crystal Court families who stepped up in powerful ways to support Capital Tea: Jon Harris Maurer and Nate Myers, and The Tynan Family.

Jon Harris Maurer has been a steady, brilliant force for justice in Tallahassee. As a longtime policy leader and advocate, Jon has carried trans rights and LGBTQ protections straight into the halls of power at the Florida Capitol. His dedication continues to shape a safer, more liberated future for our people.

Nate Myers, in addition to his unwavering commitment to LGBTQ care and dignity in this city, was one of Capital Tea’s original board members. Nate helped us build the strong foundation we stand on today, and his belief in our mission has never wavered.

The Tynan Family, ( shout out to Amber), has been a true and trusted advisor to our leadership. Amber has helped us chart a path forward that is sustainable, community-rooted, and built to last. She has opened doors across the nonprofit landscape and made sure groups like Capital Tea have a seat at the table and the tools to thrive. Amber, we commend your leadership and your heart.

To each of you: your generosity, vision, and commitment to Black and Brown trans community means more than words can hold. Thank you for standing with us as we build safety, joy, and liberation right here at home. ✨🌈💛

✨💛 Celebrating Dr. Sylvie Naar — Our First Individual to Join the Fabulous 100 💛✨

We are beyond proud to announce that Dr. Sylvie Naar is the very first individual to join Capital Tea’s Fabulous 100, our founding giving circle fueling year-round safety, joy, and sustainability for Black and Brown trans community in Tallahassee.

Dr. Naar is a nationally respected clinical researcher and psychologist whose career has transformed how young people access care, healing, and support. With more than two decades of groundbreaking work in behavioral health, she has led major studies that move innovative ideas from theory into real-world impact. Her dedication to adolescent wellbeing, her commitment to evidence-based care, and her leadership across multiple national research initiatives reflect a lifelong passion for building healthier, more just communities.

Sylvie shows up with heart, brilliance, and deep alignment with our mission. Her decision to become the first member of the Fabulous 100 sets the tone for what this circle is meant to be: bold, rooted, generous, and visionary.

🌟 What Is the Fabulous 100?
The Fabulous 100 is Capital Tea’s founding giving circle — a powerful network of individuals, businesses, and organizations committed to sustaining trans safety, housing, healing, and joy all year long. Our goal is to gather 100 local people and partners whose leadership becomes a visible, lasting symbol of care and commitment in this city.

Members of the Fabulous 100 receive year-round recognition and benefits, including:
• A permanent showcase on our website
• A Pride Partner Recognition Kit for home or business
• Exclusive gatherings and private convenings
• Insider updates on movement work and community wins
• Limited-edition merch and member swag
• VIP seating at the Big Beautiful Gift Gala
• And a legacy of standing boldly with trans and GNC people when it matters most

At a time when fear tells our communities to shrink, the Fabulous 100 is an act of refusal. It is choosing connection over isolation, care over silence, and collective liberation over despair.

💛 Sylvie, thank you for your leadership, your generosity, and your belief in our people. You are helping build the world we deserve. 💛

To join the Fabulous 100 and become part of this inaugural circle, reach out to us anytime. Let’s build something beautiful together.

✨💛 A Massive Thank You to Gilead Sciences, Our Premier Leading Sponsor of the Year 💛✨

We are beyond honored to celebrate Gilead as the largest sponsor of Capital Tea in 2025 and a true powerhouse partner in our work. Because of Gilead’s leadership and generosity, every dollar raised at the Big Beautiful Gift Gala goes directly to our community. That means more safe housing, more crisis support, more healing spaces, and more joy for Black and Brown trans people across Tallahassee.

Gilead’s vision goes far beyond funding. They are committed to building a thriving health ecosystem where everyone has the chance to live a healthy, fulfilled life. Their holistic approach tackles the root causes of inequity and creates real systems of care, access, and possibility. This partnership is not just support. It is solidarity.

We value this collaboration deeply, and we are thrilled to welcome Gilead’s team and their guest sellers at the Gala tonight. You do not want to miss this moment.

Thank you, Gilead, for believing in our people, standing with our mission, and helping us build a world rooted in community care and liberation. ✨🌈💛
