Learn the skills that could make all the difference by joining HCA Florida Healthcare for a FREE Stop the Bleed® and Hands-Only CPR training.

Our specially trained emergency care professionals will teach you how to:
✅ Recognize life-threatening bleeding
✅ Control severe bleeding until help arrives
✅ Perform Hands-Only CPR (Venice and Fort Myers sessions)

📍 Training Locations
• Aug. 13 – 9:30 am - 10:30 am, Bradenton (Stop the Bleed®)
• Aug. 20 – 10 am - 12 pm, Venice (Stop the Bleed® + Hands-Only CPR)
• Aug. 26 – 10 am - 12 pm, Fort Myers (Stop the Bleed® + Hands-Only CPR)

According to the American Heart Association, hands-only CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival after cardiac arrest. The skills you learn could help save the life of a family member, friend, neighbor or stranger.

Introducing SECHWN Monthly meeting that are hosted by the Center for Community Health Alignment

To some, this is an introduction — to others, a warm reintroduction!

One of the coalition's longstanding partners is stepping into this month's spotlight. Meet the Southeast Community Health Worker Network (SECHWN), a convener of CHW associations, alliances, and coalitions across the Southeast Region of the U.S., bringing together CHWs working in both social service and clinical spaces.

For years, SECHWN has partnered with the Florida Community Health Worker Coalition to strengthen the CHW workforce across state lines — and now we want more Florida CHWs to plug into what they offer.

Every third Tuesday of the month, SECHWN hosts a national meeting where CHWs from across the region connect, learn, and share what's working in their communities — 10:30–12:00 PM EST / 9:30–11:00 AM CST.
