Call for Volunteers: FAD Committees & Leadership Opportunities

The Florida Association of the Deaf (FAD) is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to volunteer and help make a meaningful difference in our community.

Volunteering with FAD is an excellent way to support advocacy, education, leadership, and community connection across Florida.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles and committees:

• Youth Coordinator – Help engage and empower the next generation of leaders.
• Education Committee – Support initiatives that promote accessible and inclusive education.
• Legislative Committee – Advocate for policies impacting the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
• Senior Citizen Committee – Focus on programs and support for senior members.
• Fundraising Committee – Help organize and develop fundraising efforts.
• Webmaster – Maintain and update FAD’s online presence.
• Endowment Committee – Support long-term financial sustainability.
• Bylaws Committee – Review and help update organizational policies and structure.

Whether you have prior experience or simply a desire to contribute, your time, talents, and perspective are valuable. Together, we can continue to strengthen our community and advance FAD’s mission.
