As Child Abuse Prevention Month comes to a close and we head into National Foster Care Month, the work to protect children continues every day.

Yesterday, in Bay County, we came together at Bonded by Blue, recognizing the dedication of child protection professionals and law enforcement who work hard to keep children safe.

Thank you to Trustmark Bank for providing the food and serving at our event each year.

Alongside our partners, we remain committed to showing up, supporting one another in the hard work, and protecting children every day. 💙

Thank you to Wildwood Church for hosting the Declare No More Experience in Tallahassee this past Sunday!

It was a meaningful time connecting with community members who care deeply about supporting children and families impacted by foster care and adoption.

We appreciated hearing from Florida Department of Children and Families Secretary Taylor Hatch on the role of the faith community in child protection. Our Faith Liaison, Emma Kyle, enjoyed sharing ways to get involved.

We are grateful to be part of a community that shows up with compassion.

We recently hosted two Behavioral Health Town Halls, one focused on Jefferson, Madison, and Taylor counties, and another centered on Gadsden County.

These conversations play an important role in shaping a more responsive system of care. One that reflects the unique needs of each community and helps guide meaningful improvements moving forward.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared insight, and continues to be part of this work.

Today’s NWF Health Connects Resource Expo in Leon County brought together community partners for a meaningful time of connection, collaboration, and learning.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about important resources available right here in our community, including the CORE Network and pathways for individuals seeking help with addiction. Conversations like these help strengthen our system of care and ensure people know where to turn when they need support.

Grateful for the partners who showed up, shared their expertise, and those doing the work every day to support individuals and families.

This is an exciting step forward for the community, strengthening the future of public safety and expanding the resources that support residents across Jackson County. We’re grateful to stand alongside the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, as they lead this important investment in the safety and well-being of the community.

The 2026 Walk in My Shoes event with Senator Lauren Book in support of child abuse awareness was incredible.

It was great to see Representative Patt Maney, Mayor Daniel Henkel, and Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy leadership, come together with the community for such an important cause.

It was an inspiring day focused on raising awareness, supporting children, and standing together for hope and healing. Grateful to be part of it.
