Glory Denied by Tom Cipullo is our next project. The harrowing true story of the longest held Vietnam P.O.W. will be told on stage May 31 at Florida State Opera.

ANNOUNCING!
Auditions for the Children’s Ensemble and Soloists in FSU Opera’s production of
Leoš Janáček’s Příhody lišky Bystroušky (The Cunning Little Vixen) to be held on
Thursday December 7th beginning at 5:00pm
in Housewright Building Room 088 on the FSU Campus
(directly across the hallway from the Warren G. Allen Music Library).
Please prepare 16-32 measures of a fully sung tune in English
Performances are April 4th-7th, 2024 and
a preliminary rehearsal schedule beginning in January 2024 will be provided at the auditions.

The children’s ensemble will be 6-8 young people ages 10-16 (or appearance of age)

Congratulations to our cast of the Spring Opera and Opera Outreach! Thank you to all who auditioned. Cast meeting is Thursday at 6pm in HMU088. Czech bootcamp with Dr. Timothy Cheeck next Monday (LRH) and Tuesday (HMU088) from 6-8pm.
