A Gift of Comfort & Care

We are so grateful for the GFWC Capital City Woman's Club and their incredible generosity!

We were blessed to receive 24 handmade Afghan blankets, lovingly crafted and donated to help bring warmth and comfort to children in our community.

These acts of kindness are a beautiful reminder that when our community comes together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

Thank you, Capital City Women’s Club, for helping us put comfort, dignity, and a little extra love into the hands of children who need it most. ❤️

🚚 Join a delivery team and help get beds into the homes of local families
🤝 Organizations can sponsor a bed build and bring their team together to make an impact
📣 Help us spread the word by sharing our mission with your friends, family, schools, churches, and community
🛏️ Know a child who needs a bed? Parents and families can sign up to request a bed for their child.

Whether you build it, deliver it, sponsor it, share it, or request one, you can help make sure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.

Turning raw lumber into a bed for a child who needs it takes a whole crew. Every drill, sander, and set of hands counts. 🛏️✨

Thinking about volunteering but not sure what to expect? Take it from a first-timer. 🗣️🛠️

You don't need a background in woodworking or building to make a real difference—just show up, jump into a team, and help us get kids off the floor.

Stay up to date on our site to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Building the bed is only half the story. 🚚💤

Delivering a bed means loading up the truck, hauling the frame, carrying it into the home, and setting up brand-new mattresses, pillows, and bedding so a child finally has a comfortable place to sleep.

Sanding wood, running drills, and assembling frames—this is what community looks like in action. No kid sleeps on the floor in our town! 🛏️🔨
