This Juneteenth, the Tallahassee NPHC is honoring the day through service. As a national partner with the American Red Cross, we’re inviting all Divine Nine brothers and sisters to come out and help install free smoke alarms for families in need. Let’s uplift our community and keep our neighbors safe.

The Divine Nine is answering the call to serve.

Join the NPHC Virtual Blood Drive in support of Sickle Cell Awareness as we work toward a goal of 300 pints of blood to help save lives and strengthen our communities.

Because Sickle Cell disproportionately impacts the African American community, this mission is personal. We’re calling on all councils, their family, and friends to “Give Back by Giving Blood” by donating at your local blood center during the week of June 19 — Shine the Light on Sickle Cell Day.

Together, our service can make a lifesaving impact.

Midterm elections are not “small” elections — they shape our schools, healthcare, criminal justice policies, economic opportunities, voting rights, and the future of our communities. Every ballot cast is a voice for equity, representation, and progress.

The African American community has always turned pain into power and advocacy into action. Our ancestors marched, organized, sacrificed, and fought for the right to vote. We honor that legacy every time we show up at the polls informed, engaged, and ready to make an impact.

This is our moment to mobilize. Check your registration. Make a plan. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Our voices matter. Our votes matter. Our future depends on it.

For 96 years, the National Pan-Hellenic Council has stood as a powerful symbol of unity, service, scholarship, leadership, and impact within our communities and around the world. Today, we proudly celebrate the enduring legacy of the Divine Nine — organizations rooted in excellence and committed to uplifting generations through advocacy, action, and purpose.

As we honor this historic milestone, we recognize that our collective strength has always been greater than any one organization alone. Through collaboration, culture, and commitment, the D9 continues to inspire change, empower communities, and build bridges for the future.

Good food, good people, and good work! Last week, the Tallahassee NPHC enjoyed a vibrant Spring Fling at JoEllen’s and also brought hundreds of canned goods and nonperishable items to donate to families in need throughout the Big Bend.
