If you love to volunteer, have experience with children (especially with Neurodivergent, and/or nonverbal children) and you can commit to working Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 for the next 8-10 weeks we'd love to know you!! We have a very large new cohort of women receiving individual counseling and support groups and we need help providing the very best services we can to their children. Several of the children would do better one on one but we need more folks to help.

Requires a Level II background check and we're happy to pay for it.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has helped! We've been so busy unpacking and giving things out that we haven't had a chance to say a proper thank you! Many of our shelves are filling back up and we're excited about that! We promise to do a proper thank you very soon! PLEASE BE ASSURED your generosity has been very gratefully received. Happy moms with diapers in one hands and tampons in the other... 😀

We have an urgent need for diapers, especially sizes 4-8 (most requested), emergency food for our pantry, period products and more.

Women shouldn't have to decide between gas and diapers.

The City Commission is set to weigh several changes to align operations with new state law limiting local DEI programs.

The Oasis Center will be closed on Monday, September 21st, 2026 and will reopen on Tuesday, September, 22nd, 2026 for all regularly scheduled services in honor of Yom Kippur.

Today is the holiest day in the Jewish faith and a day for meaningful reflection, forgiveness, and peace. Thinking of all our friends, neighbors, and community members observing the Day of Atonement. Wishing you an easy and meaningful fast.

The Oasis Center for Women & Girls is seeking contract therapists to provide in-person counseling to moms raising children on their own.

This opportunity may be a great fit if you are:
Building or growing a private practice
Looking for part-time or supplemental income
Available for evening and/or Saturday appointments
Clients referred through The Oasis Center
Opportunity to support women who may face barriers to accessing traditional counseling schedules
We are seeking:
LCSW • LMHC • LMFT

🗣️ Spanish-speaking therapists are especially encouraged to inquire!

Possible child supervision may be available while therapy is being provided.
