“Single file, everyone. Single file.”

As you’re driving Central Florida roads, you may notice occasional single-lane closures in areas where maintenance and construction projects are taking place to enhance the safety and efficiency of our roads.

This Wildlife Wednesday, these deer are demonstrating proper single-lane driving procedures as they approach an FDOT wildlife crossing under S.R. 429 in Lake County, so take notes!

For a full list of ongoing lane closures, drivers can visit www.cflroads.com/laneclosures.

Message from Charles Hines, Program Director, Florida Gulf Coast Trail - Today marks another significant step towards our goal of completing the Florida Gulf Coast Trail. We celebrated the groundbreaking of the Gateway Greenway Trail segment in eastern Manatee County. This segment is crucial for connecting the Florida Gulf Coast Trail through Eastern Manatee County. A special thanks to the county commissioners for prioritizing trail connectivity.
