Earlier this month, Florida’s title industry professionals united at the ALTA Advocacy Summit to champion the interests of local homebuyers and businesses. 💼🏛️

The Florida Land Title Association (FLTA) met with both of our U.S. Senators and 15 Congressional offices. As title professionals, we work every day to protect property rights in your communities.

We deeply value the opportunity to connect with our lawmakers and their staff on the critical issues impacting their constituents. As the legislative session continues, we urge our representatives to:
🚀 Work with FinCEN to relieve the regulatory burden of the FinCEN Residential Real Estate Rule.
✍️ Cosponsor the Protecting America’s Property Rights Act (H.R. 3206) to safeguard the title industry and consumers.
🏡 Support bipartisan solutions in Congress to address our nation’s housing supply and affordability challenges.

Last week at the American Land Title Association Advocacy Summit, FLTA Past President Melissa Murphy was honored with the John Voso Jr. Advocacy Award in recognition of her decades of leadership and advocacy on behalf of the title insurance industry.👏
