IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM W.E.E.
W.E.E. IS PAUSING TO REBUILD
After nearly 12 years of serving families and communities, Women Empowering Each Other (W.E.E.) is entering an important organizational transition.
Beginning August 17, 2026, W.E.E. will place our Resource & W.E.E. Services Programs on a 30-day pause through September 17, 2026.
WHY ARE WE PAUSING?
W.E.E. did not meet the financial sustainability goal necessary to maintain our current level of operational services.
Rather than continue operating beyond our sustainable capacity, we are choosing to pause, evaluate, strengthen, and rebuild.
This decision is rooted in responsibility, transparency, sustainability, and long-term organizational health.
DURING THIS TRANSITION, W.E.E. WILL:
• Review and strengthen program operations
• Evaluate financial sustainability
• Strengthen documentation and accountability
• Review applicable state and federal requirements
• Reassess partnerships and shared responsibilities
• Improve data and outcome measurement
• Evaluate community capacity and service gaps
• Develop the next operating model for W.E.E. 2.0
AND THERE’S GOOD NEWS.
During this transition, W.E.E. has been presented with an important opportunity to bring nearly 12 years of community experience, organizational capacity, and our vision for W.E.E. 2.0 before key state-level leadership.
We look forward to sharing more about this opportunity as details are finalized.
The 30-day pause begins August 17, 2026.
September 17, 2026 marks the end of the initial transition period. Services will resume upon completion of the organizational review and readiness assessment.
W.E.E. 2.0
