Fresh from the farm to your fridge ๐Ÿงบ๐ŸŒฟ

The virtual market doors close at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning so our farmers can start harvesting your orders fresh from the fields. If you want the freshest local groceries on your table this week, youโ€™ve got to get those carts finalized tonight!

When you buy from local producers, you get clean, honest food in its truest, most natural state. No chemical coatings, no heavy corporate cosmetic waxes, and zero supply-chain fluff. Just pure, local goodness from neighbors like Sweet River Farms - Live Oak FL. Long Live Farm, and Schmoe Farm .

Donโ€™t wake up tomorrow morning to empty digital bins and FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out on local tomatoes). Wrap up your shopping before you head to bed tonight!

and confirm your order before the 6:00 AM cutoff! ๐Ÿ›’โœจ

Shop Naked. (Yes, Really.) ๐Ÿ›’โœจ

Before you get any wild ideasโ€”keep your clothes on! Weโ€™re just talking about your food.

When we say "shop naked," we mean choosing food in its truest, most natural state. The stuff you buy from your local Red Hills farmers hasn't been coated in heavy cosmetic waxes or pumped with synthetic preservatives to survive a 2,000-mile truck ride. Itโ€™s just clean, honest food grown right here in our soil by your neighbors, completely free of corporate supply-chain fluff.

Shifting your focus to local changes everything:
๐Ÿ‘‰ It actually tastes like food: Harvested at peak ripeness and grown purely for flavor, not for cross-country road trips.
๐Ÿ‘‰ The nutrients are still there: Conventional grocery produce can be weeks old. Local food hits your plate at its absolute nutritional peak.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Total transparency: Click on any producerโ€™s profile on our market to see exactly who grew your food in the Tallahassee and South Georgia area.

As the June heat settles in, summer farming gets tough. Your consistent weekly orders are what keep this whole system alive! This week, choose food that has absolutely nothing to hide.

๐Ÿ… THE RESULTS ARE IN! ๐Ÿ…
We had an incredible turnout for our annual Tomato Contest, and our judges had the delicious (and sometimes hilarious) task of picking the best of the best. A huge round of applause to all our growers, but especially to this year's blue-ribbon winners!

Here are the champions of the vine:

๐Ÿ† Best Tasting Big Tomato: Better Boy โ€“ Grown by Tim Tankersly

๐Ÿ’ Best Tasting Cherry Tomato: Little Iza โ€“ Grown by Ashley & Iza Kilinski

๐Ÿ Best Tasting Paste: San Marzano โ€“ Grown by Angela Zingale

๐Ÿฅ— Best Tasting Saladette: Peter Pan โ€“ Grown by Rue McElvy

๐Ÿ’ช Biggest Tomato: Dr. Marvel (Weighing in at a massive 1 lb 5.6 oz!) โ€“ Grown by Rosey Melucri

๐Ÿคช Ugliest Tomato: Pork Chop (Hey, beauty is on the inside!) โ€“ Grown by Rocky Soil Family Farm

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their harvest with us. Keep those green thumbs working, and weโ€™ll see you at the scales next year! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘‡ Which variety are you adding to your garden next season? Let us know in the comments!
