We’re also proud to celebrate the 2026 Florida Broadcasters Hall of Fame inductees, Caroline Beasley and Jeannie Blaylock, at the Hall of Fame Gala and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 18.
Plus, we will honor Dan Spears, recipient of the Bill Brooks Award, at the Annual Luncheon on June 18.

SAVE THE DATE! FAB’s Annual Meteorology Summit will be held June 4, 2026 in Orlando during FDEM’s Florida’s Training for Emergency Management Symposium (FTEM) at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.
The FAB-powered Meteorology Session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and FAB will cover registration fees for local broadcasting registrants. Please contact us for more info!

Day one in Washington, D.C. was a great start for the Florida Association of Broadcasters delegation. We were grateful to gather at the on Capitol Hill for a reception with , providing a wonderful opportunity to connect and kick off a week of advocacy on behalf of Florida’s local broadcasters.

During the visit, our group also participated in the State Leadership Conference, where several outstanding stations were recognized with the prestigious Crystal Radio Awards for their exceptional commitment to community service.

The day was made even more special as National Association of Broadcasters recognized Pat Roberts, President and CEO of the Florida Association of Broadcasters, for his remarkable 40+ years of leadership and service to the broadcasting industry as he prepares for retirement. His dedication has helped shape and strengthen broadcasting in Florida and across the nation.
