The FDA Foundation is proud to recognize Dr. Stephanie Mazariegos.

Dr. Mazariegos has served on the Florida Mission of Mercy (FLA-MOM) Leadership Team since 2023, leading the Restorative Department. Her commitment to service extends through her leadership as the immediate past Vice President of the FDA Foundation Board, where she served for 8 years and helped advance the Foundation’s mission of improving oral health across Florida.

Dr. Mazariegos recently welcomed her first Donated Dental Services (DDS) patient, expanding her dedication to caring for Florida’s most vulnerable residents through another impactful program. Her compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to service reflect the spirit of volunteerism that makes dentistry such an extraordinary profession.

The Florida Dental Association Foundation is proud to recognize Dr. Victor Dea of Boynton Beach as an Outstanding DDS Volunteer. Since joining the DDS program in 2015, Dr. Dea has donated more than $60,000 in dental treatment to nine DDS patients, restoring not only healthy smiles but also confidence and quality of life.

Dr. Dea's dedication to serving others extends well beyond the DDS program. Over the years, he has been a devoted volunteer with the Florida Mission of Mercy, generously giving his time and expertise to provide no-cost dental care to thousands of underserved Floridians. His continued commitment to both programs reflects his passion for improving access to care and making a lasting impact in communities across the state. His compassion and commitment embody the spirit of service that makes dentistry such an extraordinary profession.
