In honor of Carole Robertson Memorial Day, we worshipped together at the Historic Bethel AME Church, reflecting on a legacy that continues to inspire generations through faith, service, and sisterhood. Carole Robertson was a member of Jack and Jill of America and one of the four young girls whose lives were tragically taken in the 1963 bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Her memory continues to remind us of the importance of nurturing, protecting, and investing in the lives of our children.

Following service, we honored that legacy through action, packing 75 Ready to Learn bags for students at Riley Elementary School. This year holds special significance as both our Chapter and Riley Elementary celebrate 75 years of service and impact in our community. As we commemorate this shared milestone, we are reminded that legacy is not only what we inherit—it is what we pour into the generations coming behind us.

We are so grateful to the Bethel family for their warm hospitality and for sharing in this meaningful day of remembrance, service, and legacy. 💕💙

🏆💚🧡 Celebrating Excellence & Making History! 🧡💚🏆

The Tallahassee Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. proudly congratulates Dr. Brandi Tatum-Fedrick on her induction into the FAMU Sports Hall of Fame during its 50th Anniversary celebration!

Mom Brandi made history as the first cheerleading coach to be inducted into the FAMU Sports Hall of Fame. Belonging begins with noticing.

This week, encourage children to look beyond their familiar circles and extend a hand to someone who may be waiting for an invitation. Some children may need a different way to join the activity, extra time to feel comfortable, or additional support to participate. By creating multiple pathways for connection, we help ensure that every child feels seen, valued, and included.

Because We Are One means making room for everyone to belong. 💙

✨ A Special Moment at the 47th National Convention ✨

A particularly special moment for the Tallahassee Chapter took place during Eastern Area Family Night as part of the Southeastern Region’s Living Wax Museum.

Bailey, daughter of our Chapter President Kimberly Hankerson, was selected to portray Dr. Eva C. Wanton, the 13th National President of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated and one of the Tallahassee Chapter’s distinguished luminaries.

This moment was especially meaningful as we celebrate 75 years of legacy, leadership, and excellence and honor the remarkable women from Tallahassee whose leadership helped shape Jack and Jill on the national stage.

Bailey’s portrayal beautifully connected generations, reminding us that when we honor our history, we inspire the leaders of tomorrow. 💙💖✨

75 Years Strong. Florida’s First. Forever Legendary.
