Marzuq Shrine of Tallahassee Florida Shriners Hospitals for Children® were founded in 1922 with the goal of providing expert medical care for children with no financial burden to the patients

Shriners are a brotherhood of men committed to family, engaged in ongoing personal growth, and dedicated to providing care for children and families in need. Our backgrounds and interests are diverse, but we are bound together by our shared values and a desire to have fun, do good and build relationships that can last a lifetime.

Shriners Children's has an extended system of healthcare throughout the state of Florida since the consolidation of their inpatient hospital system in 2022.

Relatively nearby to Perry, Shriners Children’s UF Health in Gainesville became an official affiliate partner of the Shriners Children’s healthcare system, providing another access point for specialized pediatric care for our families in Florida and South Georgia.

The location is just one of three access points to speciality pediatric orthopedic care in Florida; the others being on the University of South Florida Campus in Tampa, and the University of Miami.
