Friends of Florida State Forests The non-for-profit corporation was approved by the Florida legislature to help the Florida Forest Service with its management needs.

Friends of Florida State Forests (FFSF) is a non-for-profit organization committed to conserving Florida's forest resources and promoting citizen use of Florida's state forests. Realizing that leveraging available resources through pubic/private partnerships can do more, concerned citizens founded Friends of Florida State Forests to solicit help. FFSF was created to enable citizens to contribute t

oward general forestry operations or specific forestry projects of their choice. A board of directors oversees its operations and expenditures.
