What an incredible accomplishment! Nearly $6,000 raised means more young burn survivors will have the opportunity to experience Camp Amigo next year. Thank you to the Kids Kingfish Derby, every angler, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who helped make this year's tournament such a success. We are proud to have such an amazing community standing behind our campers, and we can't wait to see everyone again next year! 🎣💙🙏

Thank you Fanning Springs Fire Rescue, for spending the day with our Camp Amigo family and for your kind words. We're also grateful to Dixie County Fire Rescue, City of Tallahassee Fire Department, Chiefland Fire Rescue, Cross City Fire Department, HCA Healthcare AirLife, Inglis Fire Rescue, Florida, our volunteers, and everyone who gave their time to make this day possible.

Camp Amigo wouldn't exist without people who continue to show up for our kids. We are grateful to stand alongside each of you and can't wait to do it again next year! ❤️

A huge thank you to the Inglis Fire Rescue, Florida for spending time with our Camp Amigo family and for their incredibly generous donation of backpacks for each of our campers. Your kindness and encouragement made a lasting impact on our burn survivors.

We were also honored to have Jennifer and her service dog, Freedom, join us. Thank you for being a part of the Camp Amigo family and helping create memories our campers will carry with them long after camp ends.

Our hearts are still at camp, and we are so grateful for community partners who make it all possible. ❤️

The mission of the Kids Kingfish Derby is to create a fun and educational tournament for children, focused on catching kingfish off the Jacksonville coast but it is ALSO to support local charities to make our community stronger. We are partnering again with Camp Amigo. Camp Amigo is a Florida summer camp for kids and teens who are burn survivors. It provides kids with physical and emotional scars a place to just be themselves and build a network of support they can use throughout their lives.

All net proceeds of the tournament will be donated to this special organization!

Camp may have come to an end, but our hearts are still there. As we reflect on another incredible week, we''re especially grateful for Pamela and Kamiya.
