Reach One Youth Organization, Inc. a non-profit, 501c3 organization established to provide positive youth development through sports mentoring and academic support.

Sports are used as a positive youth development (PYD) activity that promotes and builds character while also helping equip each student-athlete with the tools needed to succeed in the present and near future. Prevention and intervention efforts are incorporated to combat “School to Prison Pipeline” as well as the Disproportionate Minority Contact in the Juvenile System. Activities have and will in

clude volunteering in the community, participation in Special Olympics, and other events in the Tallahassee and surrounding area. We also provide support in connecting our families to resources in the community. Through the knowledge gained from working with at-risk youth and youth mentoring for over 30 years, along with over 15 years of experience coaching basketball; we endeavor to teach student-athletes using the best of what we have to offer. Organized, structured environments from experienced high school coaches, former high school and collegiate athletes encourage hard work, discipline, fundamentals, and fun in sports. With a combination of sports mentoring and family support services, Reach One Youth Organization programs (Reach One Sports/Reach One Elite) looks to become a leading service provider in positive youth development that will reach youth, impact lives, and inspire greatness as we bring the best out of youth seeking to grow and develop into great students, great athletes, and great citizens in Tallahassee and surrounding areas.
